In-Person Crisis Intervention offered at Trauma Intervention Program NW. Trained and screened volunteers provide emotional and practical support to people involved in traumatic events and their families in the first hours following a tragedy: complete follow-up calls, information, and referral to other resources (burial services, probate information, hazardous cleanup, and other services). Volunteers are requested to crisis scenes by police officers, firefighters, hospital personnel, organizations/businesses, and schools after a traumatic event. Responsibilities
