Manage aspects of project relating to execution and overall performance of BI development items to schedule, and quality. Monitor and track overall BI development project activities. Responsible for leading BI team in implementation of BI solutions including ETL, data modeling, data validation, reports and dashboard development. May be responsible for management activities within the Business Intelligence (BI) area of the Global Business Solution (GBS) project. This position reports to the Application Technology Director or Manager Data Services.
PERCENTAGE OF TIME KEY TASKS
40-65% Management Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the business intelligence staff. Ensure open, timely communication with staff by participating in staff meetings and initiating coordination with others whenever necessary to accomplish work objectives. Participate with other supervisory personnel and management in establishing and maintaining department standards, strategies and best practices and procedures. Create schedules, assign tasks, monitor progress, and follow-up. Hold BI team members accountable for items. Resolve issues regarding testing issues. Review scope change requests to reassess and amend the work requirements and timeline.
15-25% Development Planning and Organization
Responsibilities include assisting with the creation and adherence to BI Reporting Strategy and Development Methodology. Communicate progress and work to resolve issues.
10-20% Report / Dashboard Creation
Design, develop, test, document and maintain reports and dashboards.
10-15% Research, Training, and Self-Study
Perform on going self-study of job related issues. Conduct and/or attend both formal and informal departmental and computer training. Perform other duties

5-7 years related experience Bachelor's degree (Business, Computer Science, MIS or related) Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED Occasional travel (0-5%)
