This opportunity supports a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers, responsible for improving, protecting, and defending our Nation’s Security. Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Scientist proficient in Python and experienced in automating workflows, data manipulation, and visualization using Jupyter Notebooks. This role involves leveraging Python expertise to streamline processes and create insightful visualizations for data-driven decision-making. Work as part of a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers to improve, protect, and defend national security. Apply foundations in Mathematics, Computational, and Statistical disciplines to data processing, management and curation, data description and visualization, and workflow reproducibility. Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets; communicate principled conclusions from data; translate mission needs into technical requirements; and assist others in drawing appropriate conclusions from data analyses. Qualifications

Level 2:

Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience Level 2:

Associates degree with 5 years of relevant experience Level 3:

Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience Level 3:

Associates degree with 12 years of relevant experience Level 4:

Bachelor’s Degree with 15 years of relevant experience Level 4:

Associates degree with 17 years of relevant experience All Levels:

Bachelor\'s Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science or related fields; or a degree in physical/hard sciences with substantial computational coursework may be considered. A broader range of degrees will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university, and relevant coursework or experience in the required areas. Relevant experience must include design/implementation of machine learning, data science, analytical algorithms, programming (in at least one high-level language such as Python), statistical analysis, data management, data mining, data modeling and assessment, artificial intelligence, and/or software engineering; experience in more than one area is strongly preferred.
