forge the future with Voyager. Job Summary: The Project Engineer (PE) will be responsible for all Engineering and Manufacturing interfaces. The PE will work with the Project Manager, the engineering team and manufacturing to ensure that the project is proceeding according to plans and in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Finalization of the derived requirements and entry into the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM). Creation and updates of the top level document tree. Creation and updates of the top level (as designed/as built) BOMincluding system test harness or deliverable cables. Completion of top level Parts Requisition Form (PRF), especially long lead parts, and Manufacturing Order Form (MOF). Interfacing with Manufacturing and ensuring Manufacturing knows when reviews are and has documentation to review prior to the meetings. Ensuring Design for Manufacturing, Assembly & Test (DFM, DFA, DFT) are taken into consideration. Closing action items between engineering, customer and manufacturing. Ensuring that System level operating instructions, user guides or reference manuals are developed. Ensuring, in conjunction with the PM, that critical documents are released in a timely manner. Ensuring that all the progress and documents are committed into the established repository. Ensuring adherence of the engineering disciplines to Voyager Standards Operating Procedures. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or experience equivalent. Two or more years of related project engineering experience Understanding of technical specifications and customer requirements. Strong skills in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Work background demonstrating attention to detail and ability to successfully perform job under pressure and tight deadlines is a necessity. Proven excellent team building and interpersonal skills Experience working with executive leadership Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline Experience in the aerospace/defense industry Voyager offers a comprehensive, total compensation package, which includes competitive salary, a discretionary annual bonus plan, paid time off (PTO), a comprehensive health benefit package, retirement savings, wellness program, and various other benefits.
