Job Title: Solutions Architect/Pre-sales Consultant The Solutions Architect/Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant actively drives and manages the technology evaluation part of the sales process and is an integral member of the Sales team, working as the key technical advisor. In order to be successful in this role, the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of our solutions/services to business and technical prospective users and decision makers. The key responsibilities of this role include: Leading the technical/architecture projects and translating into digital strategy outcomes Producing custom development and systems integration requirements to engage clients and prospects Identifying technical solutions that meet business objectives and using the most cost-effective solutions to meet business requirements Supporting the internal digital teams, including Customer Experience, E-Commerce, Digital solutions to digital design Acting as a subject matter expert on the impact of digital forces on business processes and establishing deep thought leadership in front of clients and within the organization Architecting new solutions for digital transformations – by building frameworks/POC's with emerging technologies Creating and delivering technical demonstrations/presentations to support the sales cycle Performing technical discovery with customer prospects and quickly architecting/building roadmaps/architecture documents for proposed solutions Designing and running Digital transformation workshops Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs Representing the Company to customers and at field events, such as webinars, luncheons, conferences, seminars, etc. Supporting Marketing with developer marketing and evangelism activities, including writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, and speaking at industry events What we are looking for: Expertise in Enterprise Architecture of Cloud and/or Application Software Development for the Digital Age Experience with building custom solutions working with vendors like industry-leading stack for Application Development & Cloud Experience responding to technical/functional elements in RFI's/RFP's Experience in developing proprietary frameworks, POC's to showcase solutions to customers Deep understanding of enterprise technologies and business context Actively researching and discussing competitive information in the marketplace with the sales team and prospects Ensuring appropriate requirement gathering and fulfillment – responsible for customer satisfaction Key Skills: Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology Pre-sales experience of at least 6 years Understanding of the Application Lifecycle phases (any industry/sector) 5+ years of Presales experience with Cloud 10+ years of Professional Services experience with major System Integrators Preferred: Public Cloud certification, e.g., AWS Certification as a Solution Architect Associate/Professional Expert-level knowledge and working experience of AWS/Azure/Google products and services Significant working knowledge or hands-on experience of application development using Java or .NET or Open source frameworks Experience in building/proposing complex service offers to meet customer requirements Demonstrate capability to design cost-effective high available systems on public/hybrid cloud and with environment estimation tools BS/Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related business degree Client interfacing, relationship building, and consulting skills required Experience with Agile development methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to lead as well as work within a cross-functional team Demonstrable experience in consulting & consultative selling Relationship building Strategic planning and thinking Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to articulate the value proposition of solutions to various executives and stakeholders Must be willing to travel sometimes on very short notice Qualifications
