Principal OR Senior Principal Field Service Engineer – Network and Communications (DEPLOYABLE)

The selected candidate will receive daily tasking and prioritization from their site lead, providing real-time support for flight operations and maintenance, addressing issues related to communications and networking, including fault isolation, remediation, and resolution. Duties And Responsibilities Include: Provide real-time support for flight operations and maintenance, addressing communications and networking issues. Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications and data link systems. Adhere to checklists and procedures to ensure repeated success. Communicate complex technical issues to local support and Responsible Engineers. Support and lead air crew engagement for solving complex analysis of technical problems. Basic Qualifications For Principal Field Service Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II compliant certification. Competence in Linux, troubleshooting, and engineering documents. Familiarity with comms/networking operations. Basic Qualifications For Senior Principal Field Service Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II compliant certification. Competence in Linux, troubleshooting, and engineering documents. Familiarity with comms/networking operations. Preferred Qualifications For Both Levels: Active DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II compliant certification. Technical expertise in network and computer hardware and software interconnection. Experience with test equipment and communication technologies.
