Our Field Service Technicians are electro-mechanical experts who provide essential technical support to customers through installations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Representing MPE on the front lines, they are customer-focused professionals who prioritize safety and service excellence. Travel Requirements
Approximately 65% travel across the U.S. Time at home when not on assignment Candidates should reside near a major airport (Chicagoland area preferred) Primary Responsibilities
Travel to customer locations to perform equipment installations, commissioning, and preventive maintenance Provide hands-on training to customers on the operation and maintenance of MPE equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues, offering prompt resolutions Communicate effectively with customers, promoting professional and collaborative information exchange Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including service trip reports and scheduling details What Sets This Role Apart

High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training is a plus) Valid driver's license Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related role Experience with processing equipment, preferably in food processing industry Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment/process issues on-site Willingness and ability to travel domestically, with limited travel to Canada and Mexico Benefits Package
