The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a KC-46 Navigation Engineer (Experienced or Senior) in either Tukwila, WA or Everett, WA depending on employee preference. This role will primarily be responsible for supporting the KC-46 military navigation systems. Position Responsibilities: Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications Leads test and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements Oversees and monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements Solves problems and provides support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs Makes recommendations for technological investments The position is expected to be 100% onsite at the listed locations. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 8+ years combined educational and technical experience in electrical engineering, RF engineering, avionics, computer science, or related fields Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with IFF system Experience with military GPS system Experience with TACAN system Experience performing Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process and implementing corrective actions Experience with FAA airworthiness certification Experience with Military airworthiness certification Experience with Equipment Manager Responsibilities for Avionics Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) Experience with MIL-STD-1553 data bus analysis Relocation:
