This role leads the development of electrical solutions for monitoring and sensing products within the medication delivery portfolio, with a focus on product development and patient impact. What You’ll Be Doing

Define design requirements and hardware specifications based on customer or user requirements. Contribute to the development and documentation of electronic system architectures. Lead the creation of designs of analog and digital electronic circuit schematics for microcontroller based systems, meeting performance objectives. Analyze circuits using calculation and simulation methods to assess performance limits and timing interfaces for safety critical applications. Ensure successful integration of electrical design with mechanical and software elements of the system. Develop and approve electrical design documentation, specifications and drawings. Define appropriate test methods to verify designs meet performance requirements. Direct the layout of circuit assemblies to meet emissions and immunity requirements and design for manufacturability guidelines. Transition products to manufacturing and ensure robust products and processes. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external development partners. Resolve competing constraints between engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, and other functions to deliver the product to market. Implement data acquisition and analysis techniques to characterize design performance. Execute protocols and testing to validate safety and effectiveness of the designs. Lead troubleshooting and problem solving for electrical aspects of devices and systems. Create and communicate design and test plans, tasks, work, and status. What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics or related Engineering and 10+ years of experience. Proven track record in electromechanical hardware development, preferably medical devices or other regulated products. Knowledge and experience in design of embedded microcontroller based electronics devices, including digital and analog design. Experience designing and testing electronics to meet electromagnetic immunity and emissions requirements. Experience using CAD systems for PCB schematic design and layout (Altium Designer preferred) and data acquisition software (LabVIEW). Baxter is committed to flexible work arrangements and may require a minimum number of days onsite per policy. Policies respect local laws and may be adjusted as business needs change. Salary range for this position is

$120,000 to $165,000

and includes an annual incentive bonus. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
