Machine Learning Engineering Engineer

We’re seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Engineer 3 to design and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. This role focuses on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, leveraging technologies like vector databases, FastAPI, and MLOps to build intelligent applications that automate complex processes and enhance user experiences. Details Location: Dearborn, MI Schedule: Hybrid (1 day remote) Pay Rate: $78/hr with benefits Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize Generative AI models, especially RAG systems using OpenAI SDK and vector databases. Apply Machine Learning concepts including model fine-tuning and deploy via robust APIs (FastAPI). Build and manage data pipelines for training and deploying AI models. Use prompt engineering to improve LLM interactions and expose capabilities through APIs. Collaborate across teams to integrate scalable AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using CI/CD and MLOps practices. Requirements 3+ years in software engineering focused on Generative AI or Machine Learning. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and FastAPI. Experience with GCP, OpenAI SDK, Docker, and Git. Understanding of LLMs, RAG systems, and vector databases. Familiarity with data engineering and prompt engineering.
