Mechanical: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment.Electrical: Maintains and troubleshoots in-circuit and functional testers, associated test fixtures, stress chambers and chamber racks to ensure manufacturing test equipment is on-line.**What a typical day looks like:*** Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.* Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.* Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.* Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.* Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.* Researches and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.* Records times and problems in equipment logs.* Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.* Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.* Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.* Aligns repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.* Devises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.* Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.* May require travel to other Flex sites or equipment vendors' locations.* Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** Requires an associate degree in related field, military technical training or equivalent education and training* 7 years of related quality experience in electronics* Allocating work to a team of fitters.* Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.* Fitting new parts.* Carrying out quality inspections.* Acknowledging immediately to equipment breakdowns.* Fixing faults on site or arranging for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.* Keeping production managers informed of progress.* Organizing teams or unipersonal to make sure that 24-hour cover is available.* Working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computerized systems.* Complete understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.BO18**What you'll receive for the great work you provide:*** Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans* Life Insurance* Short-term and Long-term Disability* Matching 401(k) Contributions* Vacation and Paid Sick Time* Tuition ReimbursementPay Range (Applicable to California)### ### $95,900.00 USD - $131,900.00 USD Annual## ## Job CategoryOperationsRelocation:Not eligible## NoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
