Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is expanding and has a full-time position for a refrigeration engineer. Responsibilities
Conduct job-site surveys; calculate refrigeration requirements for process cooling and building loads. Assist in the development of project documentation including drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), equipment schedules, details, specifications, and the scope of work. Select and apply system equipment to new and existing systems. Coordinate technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors and clients. Travel as required. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. At least five years of relevant mechanical experience. PE license in any state with ability to obtain in other states. Ideal Candidate
Experience with project management; ammonia refrigeration design; chilled water/hydronic design; equipment selection; developing P&IDs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software; mentoring less experienced staff. Application Process
