Associate Director Production Services
Overview
The Associate Director of Production Services provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and client-focused support for university event production services. This position manages audiovisual and production operations for high-profile institutional events, including ceremonies, conferences, and programs sponsored by executive leadership, while ensuring service excellence for internal and external clients. The role serves as the central liaison between event organizers, technical staff, and campus partners, aligning event production with institutional priorities, accessibility standards, and safety protocols. It is responsible for strategic planning and resource alignment, supervising and developing production staff, and fostering collaboration with Central IT and other stakeholders to support enterprise-level AV and production needs. The role emphasizes customer service, team leadership, and technical expertise to ensure seamless event execution and uphold the university’s reputation for high-quality event experiences.
Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of university event production services.
Manage audiovisual and production operations for high-profile events and programs.
Serve as a central liaison between event organizers, technical staff, and campus partners.
Align event production with institutional priorities, accessibility standards, and safety protocols.
Plan strategically and align resources; supervise and develop production staff.
Collaborate with Central IT and other stakeholders to support enterprise-level AV and production needs.
Uphold service excellence and focus on customer service in all event-related activities.

MA

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, walk for extended periods, and endure extreme temperatures
