The Senior Architect, Order Management is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the order management system architecture. The successful candidate will drive our Order Management modernization journey to collaborate with business and product stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable and efficient solutions, and ensure seamless order processing. This position is fully remote This role is an Individual Contributor Define and deliver on architecture roadmap to move technologies towards being a set of cloud-first, cloud-agnostic microservices that facilitates easy environment terraforming, discovery, and management Architect order routing and fulfillment optimization algorithms based on inventory availability, cost, and delivery commitments Define order lifecycle management processes from capture through fulfillment and returns Design integration patterns between OMS and upstream/downstream systems Prototyping solutions and new tools/technologies to determine proper approaches and making sure we stay modern, with close collaboration across DevOps and cross functional Development teams Experienced in advanced OMS features: allocation rules, sourcing strategies, exception handling, and performance monitoring Design custom extensions and modifications to standard OMS functionality using platform-specific tools and APIs (preferably in GCP) Design and implement integrations with e-commerce platforms Architect connections to ERP systems and financial data synchronization Integrate with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and 3PL providers Design real-time inventory visibility solutions connecting POS systems, warehouses, and stores What you’ll bring to the table…
Strong understanding of order management systems, data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies Experienced in cloud-first architecture and working on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP); GCP preferred Experience in cloud-native platform solutions utilizing microservices architecture patterns, enabling seamless scalability and maintenance across distributed systems Experience in event-driven architecture patterns utilizing message queues and pub/sub systems Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns: ESB, API management, message queuing Expertise in database technologies: SQLServer, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CassandraDB Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and CI/CD for enterprise applications We’d love to hear from you if you have…
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field 8+ years of experience in software application development and 3+ years of architecture, with a focus on order management systems Experience with OMS systems eg: Blueyonder (preferred) or IBM Sterling Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Minimum Starting Rate:
$126,960.00 Annually
Up to:
$158,700.00 Annually Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
