Overview
Baruch Senior Ministries, a nonprofit organization, is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to be our Full-Time Maintenance Director at Fountain View Assisted Living in Coopersville, MI. Fountain View offers assisted living and specialized care in a home-like environment with a range of care covering minimal assistance to care for the frail elderly. As the Maintenance Director you are responsible for maintaining all areas of the facility, including the electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, and the building and grounds, to be in good working order and in compliance with applicable safety and fire regulations and federal, state, and local building codes. You will recommend and maintain your department budget, purchase supplies and equipment, and identify and recommend independent contractors for repairs as needed. You will also be responsible for facility compliance in emergency procedures and MIOSHA compliance. You will have the opportunity to work for a faith-based company that has a passion for providing vulnerable residents with high quality care and nurturing their dignity and independence. Training is provided. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety and fire regulations and federal, state, and local building codes. Manage the department budget, purchase supplies and equipment, and coordinate with independent contractors for repairs as needed. A passion for our mission of caring for people as they age A High School diploma or GED Three years experience in building and equipment maintenance OR a combination of education and experience A working knowledge of licensing rules, fire and safety codes, and MIOSHA regulations Must be self directed and professional with staff and residents Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must be able to be on call Must have a valid Driver’s License How to Apply
