Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and enhancement of main constituent database, Salesforce. This position will work closely with the CII user community and CII’s Salesforce vendor partners to solve business problems by configuring the Salesforce platform to meet the operational and strategic goals of the organization in an evolving regulatory and business environment.
Responsibilities
The Sales Administrator is responsible for the care and feeding of the Salesforce platform including system integrations, maintenance, support and understanding of other interrelated business systems. To do so effectively requires a strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and the ability to understand business requirements and work with stakeholders to plan, configure and test enhancements or changes to the system.

Configure and maintain Salesforce applications, objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
Support daily operations by responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on Salesforce functionality.
Perform data management tasks, including data imports, exports, updates, de-duplication, and cleansing to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Manage user accounts, permissions, roles, and profiles to ensure the right levels of access and security.
Monitor system performance and proactively resolve errors, bugs, or system outages.
Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new Salesforce features, recommending enhancements, and participating in system upgrades.
Document configuration, processes, and procedures for reference and training materials.
Train end-users and provide support during onboarding and ongoing use of Salesforce.
Stay up-to-date on new Salesforce releases, features, best practices, and certifications.
Work with Salesforce support and third-party vendors as needed to resolve complex issues.
Participates in CII and departmental meetings and trainings and represents the department in a professional demeanor.
Lead change management efforts through the establishment of a Change Advisory Board (CAB) model.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201 or similar) is preferred but not required.
5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and configuration.
Experience specifically with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud highly desirable but not required.
Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and AppExchange applications.
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data management, and security protocols.
Experience with report and dashboard creation, workflow automation, and user management in Salesforce.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and stakeholders.
Strong commitment to customer service and user support.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Maintains client and employee privacy, including protecting confidentiality, safeguarding integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities.
Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities.
Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of SQL databases and reporting tools.
Understanding of APIs for data integration and ETL processes for data transfer.
Basic knowledge of project management software i.e. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, etc.
