Who you’ll work with
As a team we regularly interact with Product, Technology, and Engineering partners globally. It is our responsibility to partner with program, product and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning appropriate technology outcomes with prioritized initiatives. Beyond our team, collaboration with other global engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technical peers to ensure solutions delivered by our team is essential. Daily you will also work directly with multiple engineering squads mentoring and helping develop team technical talent aligned with Nike Inc. technology standards. You will regularly engage with the engineers on our collaborative, diverse DevOps squads to plan and deliver outcomes where security, reliability and performance globally at scale are expected.
Who we are looking for We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Quality Test Engineer to join our integration team. As a Tech Lead leverage existing testing infrastructure that can be used to automatically test new web applications and its integrations. Participate in the design and creation of scalable software. Test and fix bugs or other coding issues. Work with development teams and product managers to conceptualize software solutions that support automated testing. Test the front-end of applications using the latest test automation and standard methodologies. Develop and manage well-functioning regression test suites and configure create a robust report for the Automation results. Test APIs and integrations using automation frameworks like Newman to validate Lambda and write technical documentation to describe how regression suite functions. Plan and work on configuring the Jenkins to run the automation. Work on Open Search to write scripts for data loading as well as data validation. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency using performance testing tools. Solve, debug and report bugs in software.
This position is open to a remote work option; candidates must reside in the greater Oregon, Atlanta or Boston metro area.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
6 to 8 years of related experience

This is a hands-on role, writing code, doing peer reviews, and sharing other DevOps responsibilities, and understanding is essential. Lead the technical design and development of efficient, reusable, secure, and resilient technology solutions for automation and regression testing
Lead a team of engineers and support product testing, automation testing, integration testing, regression/performance testing and end-to-end process automation
Lead hands-on software engineering and coding tasks aligned to multi-year platform roadmaps, Global Technology standards, and modern industry trends
Help evolve standards and best practices to drive continuous transformational changes to Converse’s platform engineering culture and accelerating technical maturity in innovation, experimentation, and developer productivity
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
Collaborate with the product manager to develop project plans, estimates, and resource allocation
Enable cross-team collaboration across software engineering teams by growing and supporting communities of practice (COPs) for Observability, API, Data, AI/ML, Kubernetes, DevOps, Cloud, Pipeline, Disaster Recovery, OpenSource, etc.
Minimum requirements
Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
