MasTec is seeking a Procurement Director for Power Delivery – East Region to join our team of creators and problem solvers. The Procurement Director is responsible for the leadership, development, and execution of MasTec Power Deliver East Region’s supply chain and procurement activities. This role will drive strategic change across a large organization, create, develop and mentor a team, establish strategic initiatives, and executable plans, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls. This leader partners with internal stakeholders to assess the operation of the organization and identify and provide solutions for process challenges. This role reports directly to the CFO for the East Region/Shared Services and operates in a matrixed environment with segment leadership. Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES Leadingtheend-to-endSourcingandProcurementfunction,includingcross-functionalthird-partyvendormanagementandcontractnegotiationDirectourStrategicSourcingandCategoryManagementprocessestoensurecost-effectiveandefficientprocurementofapproximately$125Mofannualpurchasesofmaterialandservices. Overseethevehicleandequipmentstandards,acquisitionprocessforprocuring$50M+ofequipmentannually. Negotiatehigh-levelcontractstoensurebestvalueforthecorporation. Fosteralong-termpartnershipwithkeysupplierstodrivecontinuousimprovementandinnovationinthesupplychain. Drivecorporateinitiativesandorganizationalchangesthroughsupplierdevelopment,sustainability,supplierdiversity,totalcostsavings,auditremediation,andSOXreporting. Ensurecompliancewithallfederal,state,andlocalrequirements. ResponsiblefortheimplementationofperformancemeasuresforFleetOperations,Procurement,andSupplyChaindepartments. Partnerwiththebusinessunitleadershiptodrivecontinuousimprovementandchangemanagement.
