We believe that, together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future while tackling the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.We are looking for a **CapEx Commodity Manager** to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the **Sr. Manager, CapEx Commodity Management** and will be based in **Fremont, CA or** **Newark, DE**. **This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.**

**Responsibilities:*** Develop and execute supplier capital expenditure (CapEx) strategies: Align with overall business objectives to create a comprehensive CapEx plan that drives cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation* Cost reduction and negotiation: Conduct comprehensive cost data analysis, identify cost saving levers while utilizing strong analytical skills such as cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection and supply/demand analysis to achieve optimal pricing and terms for equipment and tooling purchases* Contract management: Develop, negotiate, and execute purchase agreements and Statements of Work with suppliers* Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving value* Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier CapEx, including supply chain disruptions and tariff changes* Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure alignment and to design scopes, develop sourcing plans, manage supplier negotiations, and lead external communications.* Supplier development: Identify and develop strategic suppliers capable of meeting the company's long-term needs* First principles approach: Have business mindset to challenge existing processes and suggest new ways to optimize and improve procurement efficiency.**Required Experience & Education:*** 6+ years' experience in supply chain management, ideally for capital projects or in a manufacturing environment.* Strong negotiation and contracting skills with expertise in Master Agreements.* Project management background a plus* Be able to work within a highly ambiguous environment along with being able to adapt to various situations and find solutions.* Excellent communication skills, capability to ramp quickly on new initiatives, demonstrated skills in leadership influencing, planning contract negotiations, teamwork while delivering results.* Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally with experience in Oracle/ I Supplier* Advanced skills in data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint required* BS/MS/MBA in Engineering/Technology or Supply Chain or a related field.* High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail in a collaborative environment* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time**Top skills for this role:**
