Third Party Management Senior Advisor – Global Technology Labor The Third Party Management Senior Advisor is responsible for governance, vendor & risk management, portfolio and relationship management processes in support of Cigna's Technology organization. This role focuses on Global Technology (Information Technology) outsourcing firms that provide consulting and professional technology services to Cigna globally, including software development, software engineering, quality assurance/engineering, data & analytics services, production support, and more. The role requires interaction with senior leadership to build portfolio and vendor management strategies aligned with Cigna's global Technology initiatives, projects and programs. It also supports Procurement / Sourcing teams in negotiations, RFP and proposal analysis. A working understanding of technology contracts and strong analytical and financial acumen are desired. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management Accountable for providing advanced strategic direction and governance of assigned supplier relationships, including but not limited to ongoing oversight of supplier performance against defined measures and guidelines. Track and monitor aggregate supplier performance and report results on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Drive governance and issue resolution for all areas of the assigned portfolio. Identify and act on opportunities to improve the supplier governance approach and procurement processes with potential significant financial impact. Conduct recurring Enterprise Business Review sessions with business/matrix partners and suppliers on a quarterly or semi-annual basis to provide strategic guidance. Portfolio Management Develop strong relationships with Technology senior business customers to understand their portfolio of business and drive supplier-focused strategic solutions to evolving requirements. Navigate a complex Technology landscape with changing strategies and priorities. Facilitate top-to-top discussions with senior leaders from Cigna and suppliers. Contribute strategic thinking to Business Requirements, Enterprise Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Change Orders, and Statements of Work. Assist in the intake and completion of requests to convert supplier resources to Cigna employees on a yearly basis. Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in third party management, global procurement, or operations; management experience strongly preferred. Experience developing and maintaining relationships with senior and/or executive levels both internal and external to achieve outcomes through contracted engagements. Strong executive presence and comfort presenting executive-level material. Experience drafting, revising, and reviewing contracts, Service Level Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Statements of Work. Demonstrated negotiation and third party management skills with proven success; ability to negotiate with internal and external partners. Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills across leadership levels. Ability to excel and prioritize workload in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment. Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong emphasis on Excel. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field strongly preferred. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, internet connectivity must be through a cable broadband or fiber optic provider with speeds of at least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.
