Job Overview
The Treatment Center Coordinator in the department of prosthodontics is responsible to execute the daily Treatment Center activities under the direction and guidance of the Treatment Center Manager and the Clinical Program Director. The Treatment Center Coordinator collaborates with the front desk staff, faculty and residents to ensure that the Treatment Center is running smoothly and serves as the contact person for all Treatment Center matters for patients, residents, vendors, and the university's administrative staff. The Treatment Center Coordinator reviews and edits the treatment center schedule in Salud, ensuring to fill treatment center schedules with department cancellation list and/or recall list; processes both internal and external referrals including corresponding with GSDM internal treatment centers regarding the referrals. Coordinates insurance eligibility with front desk patient coordinators and administers insurance procedures for prior authorizations.
