Being the guardian of the Group's Health and Safety Policy in the Region, Implementing and maintaining occupational health and safety risk maps in close coordination with the country H&S responsibles, Supporting the countries and sites of GEODIS Europe in setting up monitoring and regulatory compliance systems, Coordinating and ensuring the effective implementation of risk prevention and management policies, as well as accident and crisis management processes, Promoting the Group's safety culture with the H&S Managers of the country sites and with the Regional functional departments who are involved in safety, Consolidating Regional H&S reporting data and communicating performance to the Regional Board members and to the Group, Defining and following concrete action plans in a spirit of continuous improvement (organization, technical solutions, tools), Coordinating H&S certification policies decided at Group & Regional level, Developing and coaching all leaders/employees regarding H&S matters, Collecting all good practices in place and managing the H&S Network. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field, an engineering background is a plus, At least 10 years of professional experience at country or international level in the above-described tasks, Experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics industry would be a huge plus, Capacity to challenge and drive change, willing to be an actor of the transformation, Excellent analytical skills, as well as being an expert of communication with all levels (from field to Top Management), Passion for health and safety, any standard like ISO 45001 is considered as a plus, Fluent in English and good level of German (Minimum B2), Good command of the MS Office applications. Willing to travel 50%.
