Must-Have: - Associate's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including project documentation and technical writing. - Knowledge of project management concepts and the ability to perform in a cross-functional environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Description: The Applications Analyst II is a business specialist and technology generalist. This role is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies. The Applications Analyst II proactively identifies opportunities to apply technologies to business processes. This position advises customers on information system technologies' functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. The Applications Analyst II acts as a technical liaison and broker of services with various vendors. Credibility and effective working relationships with both customer management and IT personnel are essential. This role requires understanding of business problems and IT strategies, issues, and priorities. Candidates must be forward-thinking individuals seeking opportunities to improve business processes using technology. Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is desirable. Experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate analytical and conceptual skills and a record in new concept development for various projects. The ability to solve problems across multiple environments in a business area is essential. Understanding how IT affects organizations and linking it to redesigned business processes is required. Candidates should be team players who are flexible, friendly, congenial, and enthusiastic. Knowledge of HL7 is a plus. Successful completion of Epic's certification program must be achieved within six weeks of the final class for the supported application.
