ENGINEERING PROGRAM MANAGER - OAHU (OHHI)

The State of Hawaii is recruiting for an Engineering Program Manager under the Operation Hire Hawaii (OH-HI) project. This role manages a major engineering branch or district office and performs other duties as assigned.
Salary:
$10,428 to $16,688 per month (EM-07, Minimum to Maximum). Responsibilities:
The Engineering Program Manager exercises technical and administrative control over major engineering programs involving large monetary expenditures or directs several small groups of engineers engaged in complex projects. Qualifications: Legal Authorization to Work:
The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment to be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. Professional License:
A valid State of Hawaii Professional Engineer license is required at the time of application. Education Requirement:
A bachelor's degree from a school of engineering from an accredited college or university. Engineering Experience:
Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience. Supervisory or Staff Advisory Experience:
Two (2) years of professional engineering experience, which included training, coordinating, and assigning workloads, evaluating performance, assisting in difficult and problem areas, and maintaining high standards of work and timely accomplishment of work objectives. Administrative Aptitude:
Administrative aptitude rather than actual administrative experience may be accepted. Driver's License:
