Radiologic Technician (RADT) Location:
Correctional Facility in Corcoran, California Pay Rate:
$46.00 to $48.00 per hour Schedule:
Full-time contract, 6 to 9 months (eligible for extension) Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Requirements Minimum of 12 consecutive months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting Valid California Radiologic Technologist license (hard copy required) Valid photo identification (Drivers License or Passport) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Demonstrated and current clinical competencies Benefits Weekly direct deposit payroll Health insurance coverage 40 hours of paid sick time Contract extension bonus All pre-employment screenings covered, including physical exam, drug test, mask fit, and background check Opportunity to transition into a permanent state role with comprehensive benefits Key Responsibilities Apply ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to ensure safe radiation practices Provide emergency medical support during critical care incidents Adhere to standardized radiology protocols and complete thorough documentation Perform radiographic exams with and without the use of contrast media Assist with special procedures including fluoroscopy, drainage, biopsies, and myelograms Develop and process x-ray exposures to produce diagnostic-quality images
