Mental Health Technician - Evening Shift

The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision and role modeling to our patients. The Mental Health Technician is responsible for the following: orienting patients to the unit and program, carrying out teaching activities identified in the treatment plan under the supervision of the nurse in charge, providing continuous patient care and assisting patients in all areas, establishing and maintaining therapeutic boundaries complying with the established training program, demonstrating responsibility for observation of patients at all times, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and practicing universal precautions and environment safety guidelines. Qualifications Requirements

High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree a plus. Willing to train the right individual that has a passion for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and addiction disorders. Experience working with children and adolescents a plus. Hours

40 hours/week. Evening shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.). Must be able to work rotating weekends. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours. Benefit Highlights
