Basic Scope/Purpose:
Maintains warehouse area, by organizing and tracking material in all production phases. Moves and stores materials/products using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery/equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand truck, etc.). Supply departments with required materials. Prepares and maintains related summaries and document files. Participates in annual warehouse inventory audit. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist Warehouse Supervisor in moving labor to daily needs of operation. • Utilizes Packaging Material forecast to order needed packaging for scheduled orders. • Trains and works with dock personnel regarding updated work instructions and standard methods. Assuring designed workflow is being executed. • Assist Warehouse Supervisor in Operation planning and improvement initiatives. • Updates work instructions as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor. • Communicate potential improvements to process/systems as needed. • Coordinates incoming material approval process with the Quality Team, as needed. • Performs issues and returns on all production material used in the pressroom, as needed. • Performs Weight Verification and dumps scrap material, as needed. • Weigh and prepare scrap shipments for vendors, as needed. • Label and store finished products in stores warehouse as orders are produced, as needed. • Pull and prepare shipments for customers and vendors ensuring accuracy of product and paperwork, as needed. • Operate low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment to support in essential duties. • Follow safe work practices and keep the work area clean and organized. • Perform related duties as assigned. •Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
