In this role, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and assist customers, making each day a new opportunity for engagement and growth.

$18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 Year 3 - $19.50 Year 4 - $19.50 Year 5 - $20.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Collaborate with team members and communicate important information to your leader. Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents within your area of responsibility. Complete other assigned duties as necessary. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases while providing exceptional customer service. Perform general cleaning duties and stock shelves to ensure a neat shopping environment. Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory issues, and customer experiences. Take part in regular inventory counts and monitor for accuracy. Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize losses. Stocker Responsibilities: Properly stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness. Follow merchandising guidelines to create appealing displays. Organize new inventory and manage packing waste. Operate machinery according to safety procedures. Physical Demands: Expect to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Stockers should be capable of handling products weighing up to 45 pounds and placing them on shelves of varying heights. Qualifications: You must be 18 years of age or older. Exemplary customer service skills are required. You should maintain cleanliness to company standards. Ability to follow company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal communication skills. Capacity for independent work as well as effective teamwork. Strong time management skills. Familiarity with ALDI's products and services is a plus. The Cashier position necessitates efficient and accurate cash register operation, while adhering to local regulations regarding alcoholic beverage sales. For Stockers, morning availability starting as early as 5:00 a.m. is required to meet store operational needs. Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
