As a Software Architect within PNC’s Lending Technology organization. You will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
•\tDesign and architect scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications using Java and modern frameworks. •\tLead the design and implementation of microservices architectures with strong domain-driven design principles. •\tArchitect and Design workflow and rules engine based applications. •\tLeverage Kafka for event streaming and MongoDB for scalable NoSQL data solutions. •\tWork closely with support groups and QA to ensure system integrity, performance, and scalability. •\tTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business-friendly for Leadership. •\tProvide architectural guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure best practices are followed. •\tEvaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform. •\tCollaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements and deliver thoughtful, maintainable solutions. •\tAct as a self-starter, taking ownership of projects and driving them forward with minimal oversight.
Qualifications:
•\tTOGAF Certification •\tExperience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms. •\tExperience designing decision management applications(workflow/rules) •\tExperience in FICO decision management platform(FICO DM or FICO Blaze) •\tExperience in Flowable or Camunda •\tExperience in scripting like Groovy Job Description •\tParticipates in defining functional designs and application systems architecture across all technologies and platforms. •\tDesigns an application's technical infrastructure, such as specific databases, programming , utilities, and testing approaches. •\tParticipates in the assessment of software defects discovered during the quality assurance process. •\tParticipates in addressing enterprise-wide platform and technology requirements for applications. •\tDevelops detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support.

Participates in the assessment of software defects discovered during the quality assurance process.
Participates in addressing enterprise-wide platform and technology requirements for applications.
Develops detailed programming instructions to solve business problems through automation support.

Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $171,925.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
