Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTRC is seeking a highly motivated Sr IT Quality & PLM Systems Engineer for one of our manufacturing clients help shape our digital quality and product engineering systems. In this role, you will lead the implementation and optimization of electronic Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) across our manufacturing operations. This position is fully onsite in Byhalia, MS. Your work will directly influence manufacturing performance and product quality by: -Driving process improvements and product engineering initiatives. -Ensuring full regulatory compliance (ISO, FDA, APQP). -Creating seamless, integrated solutions that connect quality processes and product data across the enterprise. -This is a unique opportunity to be at the center of innovation and quality excellence, improving the way we design, build, and maintain our next- energy solutions. Key Responsibilities -Build and Enhance Systems – Design, deploy, and optimize QMS & PLM platforms to support quality and product lifecycle management. -Configure & Integrate – Set up quality modules (CAPA, audits, document control, supplier quality) and integrate QMS/PLM with enterprise systems like ERP, MES, WMS, and LIMS. -Data & Insight – Create dashboards and reports to track quality metrics and drive data-based decisions. Compliance Leadership – Ensure systems meet ISO 9001 and other regulatory standards; lead system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for all quality applications. -Process Improvement – Identify inefficiencies, automate workflows, and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and reduce costs. -Product Development Support – Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to streamline product development, including New -Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Management (ECM). -Training & Support – Train stakeholders on QMS systems, ensuring user adoption, and serve as the primary technical contact for troubleshooting. -Cross-Functional Collaboration – Act as a liaison between quality, engineering, and production to align quality initiatives and ensure seamless product lifecycle management. Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Master’s ). -5+ years’ experience implementing and managing QMS systems in manufacturing. -Expertise with QMS platforms (MasterControl, Arena, ETQ, TrackWise) and system integration. -Proven experience in system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC). -Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills using a data-driven approach. -Excellent project management and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams. -Knowledge of manufacturing processes; experience in battery, automotive, or other regulated industries is a plus.
