Job Description: This position is for a Stock Room/Material Handler who is under general supervision. Responsible for locating and preparing avionics equipment for delivery. Other tasks include warehouse inventory and interaction with other company employees and teams.
Role & Responsibilities:
Works under general supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service. Receives, unpacks, and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other records. Performs duties related to overall internal customer service. Processes receipts and delivery of material from suppliers to other areas of the facility. Performs inventory stocking and cycle counts. Interfaces with all levels of repair personnel as required. Coordinates with other areas of the facility to determine packing material needs. Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with. Serves as customer interface on product status and delivery. Maintains knowledge of Clients organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers. Lifts up to 25 lbs. independently. Performs other duties as required and available for overtime, as necessary.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Typically requires AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 2 years of relevant experience. Must have warehouse operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience utilizing SAP and Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred.
