Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders, preparing them for shipment with proper labeling and documentation. This role requires inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, as well as unloading and unpacking merchandise while checking for damages and discrepancies.

Responsibilities

Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.

Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

Unload and unpack merchandise, checking for damages and discrepancies.

Organize and stock merchandise in designated areas.

Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts.

Maintain accurate inventory records.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.

Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in packing and inventory management.

Experience in picking and using RF scanners.

Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

1+ year of warehouse and material handling experience.

Comfortable lifting 35+ pounds.

1+ year of computer experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of material handling and order picking processes.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced warehouse setting using modern equipment such as pallet jacks. The role involves physical activity, including lifting and moving merchandise. Dress code is casual and safety-focused.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
