Job Description:
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of Companies enterprise network infrastructureincluding LAN, WAN, WLAN, VoIP (Webex, Zoom, MS Teams), and SD-WAN. Supporting over 400+ branch offices and two geographically dispersed datacenters, this role ensures secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across the enterprise.
The position involves a blend of datacenter work (25%)including hardware installs and advanced troubleshootingand remote office projects (75%), such as SD-WAN deployments, upgrades, lifecycle refresh projects, acquisition integrations, voice/collaboration rollouts, and troubleshooting.
Skills/Experience:
Expert in configuring/troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (ASA, FTD). Proficient in Meraki SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and branch connectivity. In-depth knowledge of routing/switching protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EtherChannel, 802.1Q, STP. Strong knowledge of VRF, route leaking, redistribution, ACL/prefix-list management. Skilled in packet capture and traffic analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump, or equivalent tools. Experience with wireless networking, NAC systems (Client, Forescout), and identity-based access control. Bonus skills: VXLAN, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or equivalent SDN platforms. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, able to work with both technical and business stakeholders. Team-oriented with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem solving. Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Quick learner with adaptability to emerging technologies and shifting business needs. Required Skills:
5-10 years of hands-on experience in Cisco enterprise network environments. Required Certifications: CCNA or CCNP (CCIE preferred). Strong experience with Cisco Meraki SD-WAN and branch connectivity. Demonstrated experience supporting network integration during acquisitions (due diligence, migration planning, cutovers). Proven ability in datacenter environments, including hardware installs, migrations, and troubleshooting (25% of role). Expertise with remote office SD-WAN projects, acquisition integrations, voice/collaboration rollouts, and troubleshooting (75% of role). Familiarity with Cisco Webex phones, SIP-based PBX systems, and VoIP troubleshooting. bility to work independently, manage multiple projects, and escalate issues effectively. vailability for after-hours and weekend work as needed.
