Job Description
As the Product Manager for BMU Enablement, you will support the strategy and delivery of foundational data capabilities for our Brands and markets. This role focuses on building cross-brand data warehousing, BI, and reporting solutions. You will ensure these solutions are implemented effectively, aligned with the needs of business stakeholders in Yum, brands, and markets, and built with reusability, modularity, and design thinking in mind to maximize impact and sustainability. This is an execution-heavy role requiring deep coordination across business and technical stakeholders. You will act as a connecting rod between technical capability teams such as engineering and architecture, and cross-functional partners like PMO and User Experience designers, ensuring alignment from vision through implementation. Additionally, you will ensure alignment from a governance perspective, helping enact and uphold data standards within local implementations, in partnership with governance and data strategy stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for supporting communication and change management across brands, markets, and Yum.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Delivery & Implementation: Support the rollout of BMU capabilities in close partnership with engineering, regional data leads, and business stakeholders. Manage user stories, Jira boards, documentation, UAT, and bug resolution workflows. Ensure intake and feedback loops are clearly structured and incorporated into future release cycles. Product Backlog & Requirement Management:
Translate feature needs into clear documentation and sequencing in partnership with senior leadership. Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement handoffs to delivery teams. Maintain documentation repositories and delivery tracking dashboards. Cross-functional Support & Coordination:
Act as the day-to-day connector between central product, technical, and market data leadership. Ensure decisions and tradeoffs are logged, communicated, and reflected in updated workstreams. Communication & Change Management:
Help prepare rollout communications, demos, and feature documentation for stakeholder distribution. Support the creation of reference materials including FAQs, release notes, and decision logs. Provide light enablement and onboarding support to markets as needed. Product Value Realization & Feedback Loops:
Define success metrics and partner with analytics and business teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable value. Coordinate UAT in a way that reflects business use cases and validates solution readiness for user adoption. Collect structured feedback from stakeholders and synthesize it into future backlog prioritization and continuous improvement. Ensure product launches include appropriate messaging, positioning, and support for sustained use. Required Qualifications:
5-7 years in product management, business intelligence, or data enablement roles. Proven experience managing deliver in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence, Backlog Management) Strong background in data warehousing and BI tools (e.g., PowerBI). Experience working across multiple markets, regions, or brands in a global organization. Ability to translate between technical and business language, simplifying complex topics. Stong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Salary Range: $130,400 to $168,740 annually + bonus eligibility.
This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
