Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for an
HR Assistant
on behalf of our client, a well-established residential and commercial services company. This role is key to delivering an organized onboarding experience, facilitating new-hire orientation, and assisting with payroll and benefits administration. This is a direct-hire, on-site position in
Buford, GA.
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and confidential HR files, records, and documentation Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR team Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing with a high degree of accuracy Serve as a liaison with external benefits vendors (health, disability, retirement) Coordinate end-to-end onboarding (document collection, background checks, systems setup) Conduct engaging new-hire orientation sessions Act as a friendly, responsive point of contact for employee questions Perform additional HR duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office (or similar) Ability to learn HRIS and payroll systems quickly Outgoing, service-minded approach to employee support
Compensation & Benefits:
