About the role
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to support the deployment of Chloris' innovative technology for enterprise clients in the voluntary carbon markets and supply chain sustainability.
We are looking for someone who:

The Software Engineer will work closely with data scientists and subject matter experts to design, test, and build the software at the core of our geospatial data processing engine. They will work closely with data scientists to optimize and integrate their code in order to bring it to production. This role will report to the Data (Engineering) Team Lead.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience 3-5 years of experience with Python or similar language Understanding of Object Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL Databases Independent and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Ideal candidates will have
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB Experience with Open Source Geospatial tools such as GDAL, Geopandas, Rasterio, Xarray, etc
Location + Time Commitment
This is a full-time position, requiring hybrid work from our Boston office at least two days/week. Candidates who live outside of commuting distance to Boston, or who are unable to relocate, will unfortunately not be considered for this role.
