Summit Federal Services, LLC (SFS) is a fast-growing Woman-owned Small Business and HUBZone company providing acquisition, business process, training, IT, administrative, and security services to multiple federal agencies. SFS is looking for a Top Secret cleared Document Control Assistant IV in support of a pending proposal for the Naval History and Heritage Command. The successful candidate will administer and maintain a system of classified and unclassified company documents according to record control policies and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Essential Functions: Process a collection of digitized deck logs on CDs and 3.5 in. floppy disks, including review for classification and completeness. Complete a spreadsheet inventory of the deck logs, including ship name, hull number, month and year, classification, and notation of any missing days. Pull files from storage media and save to provided hard drives depending on classification of deck log. The requirements under this effort shall be performed at the Naval History & Heritage Command, Washington Navy Yard. Working conditions: Working hours at the Washington Navy Yard consist of a nine-hour period between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays. NHHC’s archival collection housing the records pertaining to this project are located in Building 108 on the Washington Navy Yard; records may be moved to Building 46 at some point during the period of performance. Parking on the Navy Yard is extremely limited. Contractor staff may have to park off-site near the Yard and use the pedestrian gates for entry. Processing of government-issued CAC cards for Contractor staff to gain base and NMCI access can take up to 30 days. Contractor should plan accordingly. Qualifications : High school diploma Must have Top Secret eligibility with a current Continuous Evaluation enrollment Required Five years of experience working with TOP SECRET records. Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Office or comparable programs, particularly spreadsheet software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
