Material Handler / Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a

detail-oriented ,

organized , and

experienced

Material Handler / Logistics Coordinator

to support day-to-day operations in our

warehouse

and

distribution

environment. This key role involves coordinating

inventory ,

shipping , and

receiving

processes to ensure smooth and efficient

logistics operations .

Key Responsibilities :

Manage daily

material handling

and

inventory control

activities

Coordinate

incoming and outgoing shipments , ensuring

accurate documentation

and

on-time delivery

Operate

forklifts

and other

material handling equipment

in compliance with

safety standards

Work closely with the

production

and

procurement teams

to ensure accurate delivery of

raw materials

and components

Maintain

inventory accuracy

through regular

cycle counts , audits, and system updates

Track, log, and report on

shipment statuses

and

warehouse stock levels

Resolve

shipping discrepancies , delays, or damages in collaboration with

carriers

and vendors

Utilize

ERP systems

or

inventory management software

to update inventory records and coordinate material flow

Assist in developing and maintaining

logistics procedures

and best practices to improve efficiency and minimize downtime

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a

Material Handler ,

Logistics Coordinator ,

Shipping Clerk , or similar role

Proficient in using

forklifts ,

pallet jacks , and other

material handling tools

Strong understanding of

inventory systems ,

shipping/receiving protocols , and

logistics coordination

Familiarity with

ERP systems

or

warehouse management software (WMS)

Strong attention to detail with excellent

organizational

and

problem-solving

skills

Ability to read and interpret

packing slips ,

bills of lading , and

purchase orders

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with

Microsoft Excel ,

Outlook , and

inventory databases

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a

warehouse environment

Forklift certification but not required

Skills :

Knowledge of

Lean Manufacturing

or

Just-in-Time (JIT)

inventory practices

Experience in a

manufacturing

or

industrial

setting

Understanding of
