We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the international shipment of goods. This role is critical to ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant export operations in alignment with customer requirements, international regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of international export shipments (air, sea, and ground).
Prepare and review key shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of , and export declarations.
Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to arrange and track shipments.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, and export regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR), as well as country-specific customs requirements.
Monitor shipment schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of export transactions, including documentation and communication logs.
Communicate proactively with internal departments (Sales, Accounting, Warehouse) to ensure timely fulfillment and shipping.
Manage and optimize logistics costs, including negotiating rates and services with vendors and carriers.
Resolve issues related to delayed shipments, customs holds, damages, and discrepancies.
Support audits and reporting related to export activities.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field .
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in export logistics, international shipping, or freight forwarding.
Knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, and export compliance.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
Standard business hours with flexibility as needed based on shipment required on shipping schedules.
Primarily office based, with occasional visits to warehouse(s) or freight sites.
