Phillip Jeffries is looking for a leader to join our Sales Contract Team. Are you a strategic operations leader ready to make a big impact? We are seeking a Sales Support Director to lead our PJ Contract division. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive scalable and efficient sales support operations by streamlining processes, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and empowering high performance across our sales organization. You’ll ensure our sales team is fully supported with the tools, data, and infrastructure they need to succeed while fostering cross-departmental alignment and leading a high-performing remote support team with strong execution and strategic oversight. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales Contract and will be on-site at our Fairfield, NJ HQ 3-4 days per week. Salary :
Responsibilities Process Optimization & CRM Management
Streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks
Implement tools, automation, and standardized procedures
Lead change management and system adoption
Maintain CRM accuracy and optimize pipeline efficiency
Monitor forecast accuracy and analyze pipeline trends
Identify and resolve systemic issues to enhance client experience
Sales Support Management
Act as the go-to leader for complex contract escalations
Resolve Tier 3 client claims and custom project challenges
Oversee claims lifecycle and ensure project follow-through
Develop and refine dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics
Partner with sales leadership on accurate forecasting
Ensure data integrity through audits and governance
Leadership
Build, coach, and inspire high-performing sales support teams
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Champion cross-functional collaboration across departments
Support training delivery and uphold performance standards
Lead hiring, goal setting, and strategic planning
Project Management
Lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives
Manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
Align stakeholders through clear communication
Guide teams through change and adoption
Evaluate project outcomes and drive continuous improvement
Must Have
Must be based in New Jersey
5+ years of management experience leading teams
7+ years in customer service, client experience, or sales support
Strong background in project management tools and execution
Experience in operations or process-driven environments preferred
A strategic mindset with a passion for data, systems, and people
Leadership skills
Microsoft applications with intermediate in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience managing deadlines
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to hire, train, & manage a team
Can-do attitude, willingness to roll up sleeves and get dirty
Project management skills
Team player: excellence in collaboration with our other departments

Competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 - $160,000, based on your experience and background.
