CEdge has an opportunity for an
IPMS Lead support (Level IV) , located in
Washington, DC . This position requires a TS/SCI Security Clearance. Overall Assignment Description: Ensure the In-Place Monitoring System (IPMS) console is staffed and resolve signals and anomalies that meet the established threat threshold within timeframes established by the NGA TSCM Program Manager. Resolved signals are to be detailed in monthly and quarterly reporting. Ensure IPMS console health status is reported when operational capability is diminished. Ensure IPMS and Signal of Interest reports are complete with minimal errors and that all processes, activities, and reports are conducted within established time frames. Align IPMS-related activities with NGA TSCM program, TSSC modernization goals, and the Office of Counterintelligence Technical CI Division. Maintain familiarity with governing national and agency policies, ensuring compliance with reporting and training requirements and regulatory guidelines. Duties
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the garrison IPMS; resolve and coordinate IPMS anomalies with TSCM personnel Research and investigate new or improved industry practices and tradecraft for application to the agency IPMS programs/operations Conduct daily IPMS activities, including daily tactical and strategic analysis according to procedure guides and within established timeframes Perform daily, monthly, and annual operations and maintenance tasks according to established policies and timeframes Identify and troubleshoot system malfunctions and report findings/status to the customer Perform Radio Frequency signal of interest related searches; assess and locate signals of interest discovered during surveys and IPMS operations Conduct TSCM operations consistent with National and DoD policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and procedures Ensure NGA compliance with ICD 705, Physical Security Standards for SCIFs, and DoD standards for collateral areas Identify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate them Analyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirements Provide recommendations and guidance for NGA facilities under construction Assist with maintenance and day-to-day monitoring of IPMS program to maintain mission functionality and authorization to operate in the enterprise environment Assist in determining best practices related to IPMS and wireless efforts Ensure all personnel assigned to the IPMS mission are trained in accordance with National standards for TSCM operations and qualified to operate in-garrison IPMS and comply with IPMS regulations Skills and Experience: Required
Experience writing and editing technical documents Experience with RF theory and direction finding Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Certification Complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year The NGA customer will sponsor Government-offered, discipline-specific development or refresher training per National and DoD standards. Shall meet minimum training requirements within one calendar year of assignment for DoD networks access per DoDD 8140.01 by attaining and maintaining at least baseline DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT2) compliance, at contractor expense.
