Manager, Corporate Strategy Enterprise Transformation role at BMO U.S. The Corporate Strategy and Enterprise Transformation team (CS&ET) supports the C-Suite on enterprise-level strategic priorities spanning the end-to-end lifecycle – from strategy development and solution prioritization through implementation. This team also serves as a talent pipeline to build careers at BMO beyond CS&ET. As a Manager, you will have exposure to executives and opportunities to build cross-bank relationships by working with line of business and corporate function leadership on developing and delivering the enterprise’s strategic priorities. Responsibilities

Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor. Applies expertise and creative thinking to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to complex, non-routine problems. Conducts analysis to inform strategic recommendations and considers the big picture in assessing action options against enterprise goals. Engages stakeholders across Enterprise to gather input and align on insights and decisions to inform strategic planning and priorities. Leads the execution of strategic initiatives; assesses and adapts to ensure high-quality execution. Leads change management activities, ensuring cross-business coordination and logistical support for change implementation. Monitors and tracks performance and addresses issues as they arise. Strategy Development Accountabilities (Detailed)

Uses a consultative approach to current state analysis and recommendations on strategic choices and trade-offs. Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements, and develops roadmaps for strategic execution. Conducts analysis and research to provide context on industry trends and benchmarks to inform future state priorities (e.g., financial modelling, best practices). Develops business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing ROI. Breaks down strategic problems and analyzes data to provide insights and recommendations. Networks with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices. Delivery Accountabilities (Detailed)

Leads implementation of strategic initiatives within the group and across BMO by partnering with internal and external stakeholders; initiatives may vary in complexity and involve multiple stakeholders across the enterprise. Leads the execution of operational programs; ensures quality of execution. Defines business requirements for analytics and reporting to inform decision making. Collaborates across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistent messaging to positively influence or change behavior. Acts as a relationship manager on assigned projects/programs ensuring alignment to enterprise and group goals. Supports strategy execution by leading transformation roadmaps/programs to ensure disciplined delivery and effective change management. Collaborates with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement programs and solutions. Builds change management plans; leads or participates in readiness, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment. Identifies enablers and key issues before and during implementation and raises issues with stakeholders, offering solutions to mitigate risks to delivery. Implements changes in response to shifting trends. Executive Support / Other

Supports C-Suite on other strategic priorities and ad hoc requests as necessary. Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications

Typically 4+ years of relevant experience (management consulting, financial services, strategy roles) with a post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, CFA) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge. Verbal & written communication skills – In-depth / Expert. Salary: $74,000.00 - $138,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
