Job Duties And Responsibilities

Willingness and ability to support sales teams in vacancies or when a sales team member is underperforming (e.g., administrative support, catering). Maintain and promote a teamwork environment with effective and clear communication among co-workers through positive leadership. Provide pricing and guidance recommendations to sales staff; review and approve special corporate negotiated rates. Learn and effectively implement the hotel brand and strategy within the sales team. Develop knowledge of hotel operations (food & beverage, guest services, reservations). Adhere to company sales policies and SOPs. Drive customer loyalty and grow share of the account by delivering service excellence in every customer experience. Manage group, banquets & catering, and business travel accounts by market segment to maximize revenue and exceed hotel revenue goals. Ensure proper documentation for group, banquet, and catering events is created and delivered to the operations team per hotel standards. Manage and execute RFP season annually with GM and/or Sales Manager. Ensure all aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete and documented for the team. Identify and pursue new and repeat business through prospecting calls, visits, site tours, lunches, and networking events. Develop market awareness to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies. Analyze sales and revenue management reports to identify trends and future demand; monitor pricing and minimums to align with inventory and market demand. Attend and contribute to revenue and sales strategy meetings and calls; participate in forecasting for revenue and expenses. Understand and leverage corporate and brand tools to exceed budgets. Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis to ensure proper rate positioning. Conduct weekly and monthly share analyses of market performance and implement strategies with leadership. Recommend and implement new sales programs and track ROI. Initiate collateral and online marketing efforts and track ROI on advertising spend. Prepare annual marketing, business, and budget plans. Set and monitor team goals including weekly activities, room nights, and revenue goals; provide ongoing feedback and development. Monitor day-to-day activities of direct reports; operate the sales department within the established budget. Adhere to Prime Time Selling hours and perform other duties as assigned. Travel for extended periods as required. Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 5+ years in progressive hotel sales with leadership responsibilities preferred. 100% Remote role; 50-60% travel. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Strong analytical skills related to hotel revenues. Effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills. Understanding of revenue management principles; ability to use reservation and revenue management systems for pricing and sales recommendations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
