The Staff Accountant role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely financials across Silver and its affiliated entities. This position works closely with the Controller and leadership team, supporting financial reporting, audits, compliance, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will bring both technical accounting skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Prepare cash and bank reconciliations Manage inventory and cost accounting to ensure accurate reporting Record journal entries, payment transactions, amortizations, and depreciation Oversee monthly accruals, allocations, and expense tracking Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, GL) Maintain accrual, prepaid, fixed asset, and depreciation schedules Reconcile and maintain intercompany and overhead allocations Support process improvement initiatives and documentation of workflows Assist with audits (internal, IRS, state regulators, third parties) Ensure compliance with GAAP, state and local cannabis regulations, and company policies Present financial findings and recommendations to management Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 3–5 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles Proficient in MS Excel and QuickBooks Online Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Why Silver?
