Accenture Federal Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and support application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments with minimal guidance from Sr. Architects. This role involves working across public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions while maintaining high standards of performance, security, and scalability. The Work: Support the design and deployment of application architectures in cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds. Develop and execute cloud adoption plans tailored to client requirements. Design cloud applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security. Implement and manage cloud monitoring tools and processes, such as CloudWatch. Provide expertise in software configuration management and cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Utilize tools like Elasticsearch to enhance cloud application performance and monitoring. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including maintaining a Full Public Trust clearance. Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business objectives. Here’s what you need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cloud application architecture and deployment Expertise in software configuration management Proficiency in cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch Knowledge of Elasticsearch for application performance and monitoring Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Bonus Points if you have: Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with DevOps practices and tools Familiarity with federal security and compliance standards Eligibility requirements: U.S. Citizen As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is $76,100—$136,700 USD.
