Senior Account Manager 160over90 is seeking a Senior Account Manager who will be responsible for the strategy and day-to-day activation related to sponsorship marketing initiatives. This position will be based out of 160over90's Chicago office. Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of a client's sponsorship portfolio and activation around it Specific focus on building local sponsorship strategy for client in key markets, often in an effort to support its larger national sponsorship strategy, which has a focus on college sports Build strategy around local sponsorships and the criteria that will be used to evaluate them Interact daily with client and all appropriate agencies / properties to support sponsorship programming initiatives Audit current sponsorship portfolio in key markets and make recommendations based on the build out of the strategy Negotiate sponsorships in key markets after client has approved the recommendation Work with various client workstreams to plan and implement local sponsorship strategy Coordinate and manage activation programming with current client agency partners Direct the creation and implementation of materials to support individual sponsorship initiatives Manage the sponsorship audit, sponsorship measurement, and return on investment process Develop comprehensive activation programs around local sponsorships keeping in mind multiple channels Assist in other areas of the account, beyond local sponsorships, as needed and as directed by the Account Director Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience A minimum of 6-10 years of agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience in the sports and entertainment industries Managed the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy and activation on behalf of client or company Prior experience managing day-to-day relationships with client, agency, and vendors Leadership or participation in sponsorship contract negotiations Practical experience with on-site event marketing operations and logistics Ability to think strategically and creatively Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills Ability to travel 30% of the time Proficient in MS Office Suite About the company
