Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility technology, is seeking a Sustaining Engineer - Chassis to join their team. As a Sustaining Engineer - Chassis, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Sustaining Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Foster City, CA Pay Range:
$80 per hour What's the Job? Own sustaining engineering efforts for assigned chassis subsystems, from issue identification through fleet implementation Lead design updates and validation of chassis components to ensure durability and performance Partner with suppliers to implement robust corrective actions and improve part reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability Author Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and develop validation test plans for subsystem-level changes Lead fleet trials and analyze data to confirm long-term improvements in durability and performance What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred 6–8 years of experience in chassis, powertrain, or mechanical systems engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment Proven ability to deliver subsystem-level corrective actions that enhance reliability and serviceability of complex mechanical products (EV or automotive experience preferred) Deep knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing/fabrication processes Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, especially CATIA What's in it for me?
