We are seeking an experienced
Digital Workplace Solutions Architect
to join our Dynamic Workforce Solutions (DWS) team. In this role, you will be the technical bridge between our sales team and prospective clients, demonstrating how our solutions can address complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with excellent communication skills to articulate value propositions and build trust with potential customers. The DWS Pre-sales Architect is also responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies that align with clients' overall mission and goals. This role will collaborate with other leaders in the practice to bring subject matter expertise to Federal clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Presales, Deal Strategy, Solution development, and Digital Transformation
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored technical solutions
Lead discovery sessions, technical demonstrations, and proof of concept implementations
Create and deliver compelling DWS product presentations and technical demonstrations
Respond to RFPs and technical inquiries with accurate and persuasive information
Stay current with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
Document solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to sales teams
Support post-sale handoffs to ensure smooth implementation
Collect and communicate market feedback to product management teams
Design the following solutions during the sales cycle:
Design comprehensive service desk architectures that align with ITIL best practices
Develop solutions for multi-channel support (phone, email, chat, self-service)
Design end user support models including remote assistance and on-site support options
Develop solutions encompassing field service delivery models including dispatching, scheduling, and mobility solutions
Design end-to-end device lifecycle management solutions from procurement to retirement
Develop asset management systems, including inventory tracking and reporting capabilities
Design subscription models and financial frameworks for DaaS offerings
Develop unified communications architectures including voice, video, and messaging solutions
Architect mobile-first communication strategies that enable workforce flexibility
Basic Qualifications:
US Citizen
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience .
Minimum 8 years of experience in consulting or IT services industries sales, preferably Federal market experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience negotiating, shaping, and closing large deals in the professional services space.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical presales, solutions architecture, or consulting role.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading customer discussions and managing stakeholder relationships.
Minimum 3 years of presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Digital Workplace Architect with deep expertise in one or more of the following:
Modern Service Desk
Conversational AI
ServiceNow
Workplace Automation
Modern Field Services
Minimum 3 years of experience with Modern Endpoint Engineering (SCCM, Intune), Unified Communication and Collaborations, M365 (Teams, SharePoint, Email, Endpoint security), Azure Virtual Desktop, RPA.
Preferred Skills:
Architecture level understanding AI, AI Agents.
Experience in deal structuring, pricing, and contracting.
Ability to build and sell transformative workplace solutions
Strong understanding of digital transformation and its impact on workplace environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
Proven experience leading large, complex, strategic sales opportunities.
Ability to engage and build relations with senior leadership at Fortune 500 organizations.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to oversee and inspire multiple teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Attributes include strategic thinking, teamwork, ability to influence, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of professionalism and strong attention to detail
Must have an Expanded breadth of business experience driving deal shaping & origination.
Ability to interact with senior leadership at a client and/or within NTT DATA
