We’re seeking a strong analytics leader to help grow our media data & analytics practice. You’ll have the unique opportunity to work with our media leadership group to shape the infrastructure, processes, and products that guide our growth strategy and media investment decisions. Job Summary:

The VP, Media Data & Marketing Science senior leadership role is responsible for building and scaling Mythic's media data and analytics practice. The position is instrumental in developing analytical frameworks, predictive models, and experimental designs, while also leading data governance and translating complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities: Find Growth Drivers: Analyze Media Performance Across Channels Collect & synthesize media data from digital and traditional channels Develop analytical frameworks that can be used across multiple client industries to highlight media’s contribution to growth Identify and share insights that can drive improvement in media mix/allocation, channel strategies, and partner performance Develop repeatable approaches for modeling the impact of Comms Plans & Media Investment on client outcomes & key objectives Budget Setting: Familiar with Excess Share of Voice (ESOV), Comms Goals (R/F) Data Ops & Governance Work with Media team to support comprehensive and accurate data collection (tagging instructions & API access), standardization (naming conventions & trafficking QA), and delivery to partners Consult on overall campaign learning agendas Contribute to predictive modeling of impact Experiment design to isolate impact of the test and achieve statistical significance Meta Analysis: Identify Patterns in Performance Across Clients Design statistical analyses that identify performance drivers across client teams and media channels Actively participate in Mythic Media Team training & learning sessions to identify opportunities within our data to unlock performance Manage Partners: Oversee implementation of advanced analytics (MMM, Attribution) Advise on analytic partner/platform selection Marketing/Media Mix Platforms - familiarity with the approach, key vendors in the landscape and how to apply learnings within an overall marketing strategy (ex: Mutinex, Keen, Arima, Kantar) Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience working with media data and analytics Experience working within an analytics & insights group within a full-service or media agency Technical Degree (Marketing Analytics, Advanced Mathematics, Business Analytics) Hands-on ability to manipulate, analyze, and model data from Google Ads Data Hub, Meta Ads Reporting Hub, Ad Server Data (Google Campaign Manager, Innovid), Integral Ad Science, Nielsen, Circana, and others. Building custom models (Python/R), forecasting impact, and designing experiments (A/B testing) Expertise in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex media (especially paid media) and business data from diverse sources; SQL proficiency Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights that drive media strategy, improve performance, and clearly connect marketing efforts to business results.
