Cupertino, California, United States Apple Games, Apple Arcade and Game Center represent the home of the gaming experience on Apple's platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and visionOS. Join the Game Services UI team and help us build the Apple Games app and many other user-facing gaming features and systems, integrations that help developers build features into their games. Responsibilities
As an Apple Games UI, you'll be responsible for developing and improving the Apple Games App, Game Overlay and UI frameworks that power multiplayer experiences, achievements, leaderboards, and other social gaming features across Apple's platforms. You'll work closely with platform teams, game developers, and the Apple Games Framework team to build flawless gaming experiences. Minimum Qualifications
In-depth development experience at the application and user interface level with native Apple technologies (Swift or Objective-C, and UIKit or SwiftUI) Deep understanding of operating systems programming concepts, including concurrency and memory management. Experience working closely with a multi-functional team, handling expectations and ultimately delivering great work on time Ability to investigate requirements for projects independently Preferred Qualifications
Solid knowledge of client/server architecture, networking protocols, and synchronization problems. Experience designing, building, and maintaining public APIs is a plus Experience with user interface performance debugging is a plus BS CS or equivalent experience Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
